I took these pics of the reduction gear
that is on my trim wheel. The previous owner/builder couldn't tell me
where the reduction gear came from but it's a simple worm gear and one
revolution on the small wheel gives about a quarter inch movement on
the plans built trim wheel. It makes trimming the plane very similar
to trimming any factory plane.
